Hands-on Review : Walton Primo X4 – Power in Budget

Bangladeshi smartphone maker Walton recently unveiled Primo X4, the latest member of Primo X series. The metal-clad features fingerprint scanner which is embedded on the home button and the company touts that it can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds. Another highlight of the handset is that it comes with USB Type-C charging port. Pricing at BDT 22990, the phone is powered by a 3130mAh non removable battery.
The Primo X4 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and under-the-hood packs a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P MT6755m processor clocked at 1.8GHz, clubbed with 4GB of RAM. Coming to the cameras we get a 16MP camera with an LED flash on the back and 13MP unit on the front. The new comer runs on Amigo 3.2 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The smartphone is based on the performance of the processor MediaTek MT6755. It is built on a 64-bit architecture and is composed of eight cores running at a clock frequency of 1.8 gigahertz. By the way, the graphics component of the phone meets the accelerator called the Mali-T860. This is a new generation of accelerators, so that the graphics really should you enjoy.

There is DTS Sound System in the Primo X4, that’s why the audio output is clean. Plugging in a pair of headphones has a rather disastrous effect on stereo quality with crosstalk rising to very high levels.
